Amit Jain is CEO and CoFounder of GirnarSoft. His aim was to build a 10 billion dollar company and he worked with passion and commitment to make it happen(Nov’13 Update: First Milestone to the dream – Picked $15 MM Funding By Sequoia). He is an IIT Delhi graduate of 1999 and worked in Trilogy for 8 years before he started GirnarSoft. The passion of starting a company and doing innovations is what led him to form GirnarSoft in 2007. It started as outsourcing company so that he could raise some capital which could be invested into their own inhouse innovations. In around an years time company had enough cash available to be infused into their own products, thats when CarDekho.com was launched in year 2008. Actually there were multiple ideas he worked upon and then zeroed into CarDekho. It along with gaadi is now India’s #1 Auto platform serving over 14 Million visitors a month in India. Life’s not always a success and he has got multiple failed ideas to his credit :). He believes that the failures actually taught him a lot more ! He now know so many ways not to fail. Each failure led to something successful and thats the journey he has enjoyed the most. And testimony to the same is the fact that Girnar is now over 900 people group !
